Thanks Guelph Musuems for adding Sgt. Harry Jacob Bockner’s name to the cenotaph in time for Remembrance Day 2019.
From my father’s war memoir, I learned that his good friend, Harry, was killed in action on April 11, 1945 near Zutphen.
When I later discovered Harry was from Guelph, and inquired why his name wasn’t on the local cenotaph, the Museum quickly corrected the oversight.
